Jessy Poirier

For Denis | Denis Lavoie Gave Me My Voice Back – Jessy Poirier

“Denis had this incredible ability to believe in people before they were capable of believing in themselves.” There are people who build companies. There are people who build industries. And then there are the rare few who build people. To me, Denis Lavoie belonged to that last category. A lot of people will remember […]

Lynx 2027 Shredder RE 3700 with 850 E-TEC Turbo R: A 34” stance, is this all you got?

There’s a difference between playful… and planted. Between light… and locked in. Between flickable… and flat-out unshakeable. The 2027 Lynx Shredder RE 3,700 850 E-TEC Turbo R doesn’t beg for attention. It doesn’t try to be the lightest-feeling sled in the parking lot. It doesn’t scream “look at me” with smoke and mirrors. It just charges […]

2027 Summit X Review: Is Ski-Doo’s Benchmark Still the Automatic Choice?

For years, the Summit X has been the sled I measure everything else against. Every winter, at SnowShoot, I swing a leg over the newest mountain machines and quietly ask myself the same question: did anyone finally dethrone it? For MY27, the answer is very layered. From a pure on-snow performance perspective, the 2027 Ski-Doo Summit X […]

2027 9R RMK Factory Edition 155”: A Polaris Built to « Send it », Not to Sit Pretty

Some sleds are refined. Some sleds are predictable. And then there’s the 2027 9R RMK 155 Factory Edition. It shows up with reinforced rails, race-bred shocks, and zero interest in being average. It’s clearly showing that Polaris is done apologizing and is ready to party in 2027. Now, this isn’t your standard RMK with flashy decals. […]

Arctic-Cat 2027 HCX 858 146”: Race DNA, Mountain Mayhem

Every once in a while, a sled surprises you. Not for its flashy appearance or popularity, but because of how different it feels when you first crack the throttle. The 2027 HCX 858 146″ is that sled for me. This is not your traditional long-track, deep-lug, ultra-mountain specialist. This is a race-bred, hard-charging, unapologetically aggressive […]

Mountain Snowmobiles 2027: My Predictions and Desired Evolutions

More Than Ten Years of Evolution… and Still Plenty to Imagine Since I began collaborating as a test rider for Motoneiges.ca, I’ve had the privilege of riding snowmobiles in just about every configuration imaginable, across a wide range of terrain and conditions. That role has given me a front-row seat to just how much the […]

Jessy.P – UNLEASHED into the TOBE Tribe: My 2025 Gear Review

Finally, Jessy.P shares her impressions on her TOBE Outerwear Gear for 2025. I’ve technically died more than seven times. Not metaphorically. Actually. And while that makes for some wild stories around the campfire, it also makes one thing very clear: I need gear that has my back—literally. This season, I made a big, bold switch: […]

Hay Days 2025: A Weekend of Friends, Festivities, and Firsts

This September, I had the incredible chance to attend Hay Days 2025 in Minneapolis, MN, and let me tell you—what a whirlwind of a weekend! If you’ve ever been, you know what I mean: two short days packed with everything snowmobile culture has to offer, from media conferences and product launches to freestyle shows, swap meets, […]

Finally, A Mountain Snowmobile Guide for Women Riders… Written By A Woman

Let’s be honest—snowmobiling has long been a male-dominated industry, and while the machines have evolved, most buying guides haven’t. So, I figured it was time someone stepped up and did this differently.Welcome to what might just be the first-ever women’s snowmobile buying guide—by an experienced woman who knows what it’s like to wrestle with a […]
